The Long Beach edition on May 30, 2026 marks our return to Shannon's on Pine — the exact venue MEL documented us drawing 200+ fans in 2018. Tickets are issued through Ticket Tailor (industry standard) and you'll get a confirmation email immediately.
Nope. Cosplay is encouraged and there's a costume contest with prizes, but plenty of people show up in regular clothes and have a great time. Wear what you'd wear out on a Saturday night — anime t-shirt energy welcome.
Yes. Bring valid government-issued ID. We card at check-in. No exceptions.
Both get you full event access — wristband, every participating venue, costume contest entry. The Cocktail tier adds one complimentary anime-themed signature cocktail at your starting venue. Cocktail tier is capped at 75 tickets.
Check-in opens at 4:00 PM at Shannon's on Pine. Show up between 4:00–6:00 PM to grab your wristband and start the crawl. The event runs until 10:00 PM.
The full list of participating venues drops inside the Facebook Event the week of the crawl. RSVP "Going" to be the first to see it. Shannon's on Pine is your starting venue.
Tickets are non-refundable but transferable — you can pass yours to a friend. Email info@thebiganimepubcrawl.com if you need to transfer.
Pine Avenue has metered street parking and several public lots within a 5-minute walk. Long Beach is also Uber/Lyft friendly and the Metro Blue Line stops a few blocks away. We strongly recommend not driving — you're going to a pub crawl.
Almost always, yes. We cap the cocktail tier at 75 tickets per event so the bars can prep enough specialty cocktails. Once it's gone you can still grab GA — but the complimentary drink slot won't come back.
